- Is creative, innovative, and committed to continuous improvement
- Is ready to take on a rewarding challenge with real impact
- Has anNVQ 2 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent qualification or experience
- HasLiteracy and Numeracy skills equivalent to Level 1 of the National Qualification & Credit Framework
- CompletedDepartment for Education Teaching Assistant Induction Programme (or to complete within first term)
- Hasa full and relevant qualification accepted by the Department for Education (DfE) to work in anearly yearssetting
- Hasa secure knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Statutory Framework.
- Displaysgood understanding of a child’s development and learning.
- Has experience of developing learning resources that scaffold and support learning
- Demonstrates effective communication skills to liaise sensitively and effectively with parents and carers
