PTS Painter in London (Until Christmas)

Overview We are seeking skilled and professional PTS Painters to join our team for a temporary project in London, running until Christmas. This role involves painting and spraying tasks in a rail environment, requiring a high level of precision and adherence to safety standards. Responsibilities

• Perform painting and spraying tasks to a high standard in a rail environment.
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and project guidelines.
• Maintain and operate painting equipment effectively and safely.
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure the finished work meets the required specifications.

Qualifications Essential

• Valid PTS (Personal Track Safety) certification.
• At least a half mask with filter for safety purposes.
• Full PPE, including full oranges, hard hat, and safety boots.

Preferred

• ICAT certification or formal training as a painter.
• Previous experience in painting and spraying within a rail or industrial environment.

Day-to-Day

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary.
• Apply paint and coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
• Monitor and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth workflow.
• Adhere to all health and safety protocols, particularly in a rail environment.
