Production operative

The Production Operative is responsible for ensuring the Gerald McDonald & Company Limited Quality Management System is adhered to and progressed, liaising with the Directors, the Technical Manager and Production Manager. The role ensures that all products leaving the factory are produced to the highest possible standards, meeting all specification and legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Production & Machinery Management

• Run and maintain processing equipment in the Juice Blending area.

• Monitor and maintain ancillary equipment.

• Ensure all processing instructions are carried out correctly.

Systems & Administration

• Carry out warehouse office duties as required.

Health, Safety & Housekeeping

• Carry out good housekeeping practices throughout the factory.

• Maintain a high level of health and safety awareness for oneself and fellow employees.

Team & Stakeholder Management

• Ensure a spirit of co-operation and good working relations with other departments within the Company.

General Responsibilities

• Carry out any reasonably appropriate additional tasks requested by the Managing Director.

• Carry out all of the above duties professionally and responsibly.
