PERSONAL ASSISTANT WANTED

Support Young Adult with Community Activities & Education

We are looking for a reliable, patient and encouraging Personal Assistant to support an 18-year-old young man following discharge from psychiatric hospital.

The role involves helping him build confidence, develop independence, and engage with activities in the local community.

Duties Include

• Supporting access to community groups and activities
• Assisting with an Open University application and study planning
• Helping him stay on track with deadlines and commitments
• Providing encouragement and motivation to achieve personal goals
• Accompanying him on leisure activities, including fishing
• Supporting positive routines and social engagement

Experience in mental health support, youth work, social care or mentoring would be beneficial, but the right personal qualities are most important.
