About this role
This post is suitable for a post CCT surgeon wishing to expand their primary, complex primary and revision hip replacement experience. The candidates will be expected to participate in clinical and other service activities with the object of ensuring a high standard of patient care, including an out of hours commitment. You will also be expected to take an active part in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and training and contribute to the management of the clinical service and service development. The successful candidate will also be expected: To provide high quality orthopaedic services to the Trust patients including the development of the service. To participate in clinical and other service activities with the object of ensuring a high standard of patient care, including theatres, clinics and wards. To participate in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and training To gain further experience and develop an expertise in the management of orthopaedic conditions. To participate in a relevant research project and audits.
