Skilled Groundworkers in Watford

Overview We are seeking experienced and skilled Groundworkers to join our team for a minimum of one month's work in Watford. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with the required certifications and training to contribute to a dynamic project. The role involves hands-on work, including hand digging with shovels, under the supervision and assistance of the Construction Professional (CP).

Responsibilities

• Perform groundworks tasks, including hand digging with shovels, in accordance with project requirements.
• Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
• Collaborate with the CP, who will supervise and assist in the work.
• Utilize tools and equipment, such as CAT and Jenny, effectively and safely.
• Maintain a clean and organized worksite.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth project execution.

Qualifications To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following

• EUSR Persons Training certification.
• HSG 47 certification.
• CAT and Jenny training.
• Proven experience in groundworks, particularly in hand digging.
• Strong understanding of health and safety practices on construction sites.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Day-to-Day

• Begin each day with a safety briefing and review of the day's tasks.
• Perform hand digging and other groundworks activities as directed.
• Operate tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Collaborate with the CP and other team members to ensure project milestones are met.
• Monitor and report any issues or hazards to the CP promptly.
• Conclude the day by ensuring the worksite is left in a safe and tidy condition.
