Nivo hosting group Limited • Portsmouth, Hampshire
About this role
About the Role
Portsmouth's maritime identity goes far beyond its naval heritage. The city's commercial port handles a steady flow of freight, ferry operations, and offshore support logistics along the English Channel — making it an active base for supply chain activity serving installations further afield. We're currently looking for an Offshore Materials Coordinator to join a logistics team operating out of the Portsmouth area.
The role is hands-on and operationally focused. You'll be working as part of a small, tight-knit team where everyone pulls their weight and the work is straightforward but important.
Package
Monthly earnings for this position range from approximately £4,800 to £6,200 — that includes your base rate, offshore living allowance, and any bonuses tied to project performance. It's a honest figure that reflects what you'll actually take home.
Rotation is 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off. Fixed.
You'll know your dates ahead of time and won't be messed around with last-minute schedule changes.
Accommodation
Full onboard accommodation included — no hotel bills, no self-arranging
Meals
All meals provided during your offshore hitch
Travel
Coordinated and covered from Portsmouth to your installation
Training
Full induction provided — previous offshore experience is not required
Core Responsibilities
Coordinating the receipt, storage, and dispatch of materials and technical equipment
Checking incoming deliveries against purchase orders and flagging any discrepancies
Supporting supply vessel load-out and offload operations at the port
Maintaining accurate materials records and updating inventory logs as required
Liaising with the onshore logistics team to ensure offshore supply schedules are met
The Right Person
Offshore coordinators don't need to have worked offshore before — they need to be organised, dependable, and capable of working methodically when things get busy. If you've managed stock, coordinated deliveries, or worked in a busy operational environment on shore, the fundamentals are the same.
You should be comfortable with 14-day hitches away from home and confident working in environments where attention to detail genuinely matters.
Certification & Safety Requirements
OSR-1 Validation
All candidates are required to complete the OSR-1 (Offshore Safety Readiness) online assessment as the mandatory first step in our selection process. This confirms you meet the baseline safety standards required before any offshore placement can be considered.

Candidates progressing through selection will be fully sponsored for BOSIET certification by the company — covering practical safety training, emergency response, and survival procedures. Fully funded, fully arranged.
