Full Time Domiciliary Care Worker / Home Care Assistant

SureCare Redbridge and Epping Forest are looking for compassionate and reliable Care Workers to join our friendly and growing team, providing support to people in their own homes.

We are looking for kind, dependable people who genuinely enjoy helping others and making a difference in someone's day. Immediate start available!

As a Care Worker you will play an important role in helping our clients maintain their independence, dignity and quality of life. You will visit clients in their homes and provide practical and emotional support tailored to their individual care plans.

Main Duties

Providing companionship and emotional support.

Providing personal care including washing, dressing and toileting.

Assisting with medication prompts or administration where required.

Preparing meals and assisting with eating and drinking.

Supporting clients with mobility and transfers.

Light household duties such as cleaning, laundry and shopping.

Recording of care provided and reporting any concerns to the manager.

Supporting clients to remain safe, comfortable and independent in their homes.

What We Are Looking For

Caring, reliable and patient individuals.

Good communication skills.

A positive and respectful approach to supporting vulnerable people.

Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and alternative weekends. (Flexible working patterns can be discussed).

Previous care experience helpful but not essential as training will be provided.

Applicants should live locally or be able to travel between client visits.

Hours

Shifts may include

Morning; afternoon; evening; sleeping nights; weekends.

A typical shift may range from 7am - 3pm or 2pm to 10pm, depending on client's needs.
