Are you an inspiring Early Years leader looking for a fresh challenge? We are seeking a passionate Toddler Room Leader to join our client team ASAP.
This role offers a fantastic 40-hour working week with a variety of shifts and the at least one half-day per week, ensuring you have time for yourself outside of the classroom.
The Role
You will lead a dedicated team to ensure the smooth daily running of the Toddler room.
Key duties include
Leading & Mentoring
Delegating tasks and acting as a positive role model for your team.
Education
Planning and assessing individual child development in line with EYFS and Ofsted standards.
Partnerships
Building strong relationships with parents and children.
Leadership
Deputize for Management when required and act as a positive role model at all times.
Candidate Requirements
Qualifications
Minimum Level 3 in Childcare or a Montessori Diploma (Essential).
Experience
At least 1 year of experience leading a room in a nursery setting in the UK.
Skills
Strong ICT skills and excellent communication (verbal and written).
Mindset
Passionate, motivated, and adaptable with an extensive knowledge of the current EYFS.
Safety
A current and clean Enhanced DBS and Paediatric First Aid certificate are essential.
