Care Assistant

About this role

Pharmacode Care Limited is seeking compassionate and reliable Care Assistants to deliver high-quality, person-centred care and support to individuals in supported living, domiciliary care, and community settings across the UK. The role includes assisting service users with personal care, medication prompting, meal preparation, mobility support, emotional support, and daily living activities, while promoting

independence, dignity, and wellbeing.

Key duties

  • Support service users with personal care, such as washing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Provide medication prompting and support with daily routines.
  • Assist with meal preparation, hydration, and nutrition.
  • Help with mobility, transfers, and safe movement around the home or community.
  • Offer emotional support, companionship, and encouragement.
  • Maintain accurate care records and report any changes in wellbeing or incidents.
  • Follow safeguarding, infection control, and health & safety procedures.
  • Work professionally with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure consistent care.

Person specification

  • Caring, compassionate, and reliable.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Able to work flexible shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
  • Previous care experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
