Leasehold Manager

About this role

Pinnacle Group are looking for a Leasehold Manager to oversee complex customer enquiries and leasehold casework, including compliance, lease interpretation, and specialist transactions, ensuring a consistent customer experience and full alignment with regulatory and client requirements. In this role you will manage a team of 2 Leasehold Coordinators in delivering a seamless and efficient service to customers and clients.

Our Homes Division delivers trusted housing management services across Affordable, Private Rented and Leasehold properties. We work with local authorities, registered providers and investors to support thriving communities.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ leasehold experience, with proven supervisory or managerial capability, and a strong track record of handling complex casework, escalations, and lease interpretation, while leading a small team to deliver a consistent, compliant, and customer-focused service in line with regulatory and client requirements.

This is a hybrid role with a requirement of 1 day in the office on Wednesdays in Holborn, London.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical oversight on complex casework and lease interpretation
  • Oversee all leasehold and non-transactional casework across the portfolio
  • Act as escalation point for complex or sensitive cases, including: lease breaches, probates, subletting requests, lease interpretation disputes
  • Manage risks associated with leasehold obligations and customer disputes• Oversee the handling of enforcement and breach management
  • Support the Staircasing and Resale Manager [NR2.1]interpreting leases on complex transactions including: resales & staircasing, remortgages, transfers of equity, certificates of compliance
  • Support responses to solicitor enquiries and legal queries
  • Act as primary point of contact for clients on leasehold matters
  • Liaise with managing agents, solicitors, councils, and internal teams
  • Support mobilisation of new stock, ensuring lease structures are understood

Key requirements

  • 2 years experience in leasehold management
  • 2 years experience in interpreting residential leases
  • Experience in managing complex casework and escalations
  • Prior experience in a leadership role i.e. team leader, supervisor, manager
  • Strong communication skills
