We're looking for a Residential Solutions Director to join our Kier Places team based in Nationwide locations.

Location

Nationwide - hybrid working with travel to the office and sites as required. Office locations include but are not limited to; London, Birmingham and Sheffield.

Hours

37.5 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

This is an exceptional opportunity to shape the strategic direction of a major growth portfolio within Kier Places. As Residential Solutions Director, you'll lead the evolution of our residential services business, working with local authorities, housing associations and residential asset owners to deliver essential maintenance, compliance, asset management, retrofitting, planned works and regeneration services. This role is pivotal to our ambitious growth plans as we look to significantly expand our footprint and revenue across this sector.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Residential Solutions Director, you'll be working within the Kier Places leadership team, supporting them in delivering our strategic growth ambitions. Your day to day will include:

-Leading the strategic direction and market positioning of Residential Solutions, using insight and intelligence to shape our value proposition and identify emerging opportunities

-Driving operational delivery and performance across a complex, geographically dispersed operation, ensuring safety, compliance, quality and resilience at every level

-Building strong relationships with clients across local authorities, housing associations and other residential asset owners, acting as an external ambassador for the business

-Holding full P&L accountability, delivering robust commercial performance whilst modernising our delivery models through standardisation, digital enablement and continuous improvement

-Providing inspiring, visible leadership across our workforce, building capability and culture that can scale with growth

What are we looking for?

This role of Residential Solutions Director is great for you if

-You have experience leading a large-scale residential, housing or property services operation, ideally with revenues in excess of £100m

-You bring a strong track record of market engagement and proactive work winning, ideally within the housing maintenance sector

-You can demonstrate extensive experience managing multi-site, multi-disciplinary teams in a highly operational environment

-You possess strong commercial acumen with demonstrable success in driving profitability and sustainable growth

-You're a forward-thinking, resilient leader with exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills
