The Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Shift Engineer to join the engineering team at a high-end, iconic landmark site right in the heart of Liverpool Street. Representing a premier, industry-leading Facilities Management company, you will be key to ensuring the building's complex mechanical infrastructure and plant systems run flawlessly.
Key Responsibilities

First-Class Maintenance
Undertake planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive tasks across all mechanical plant, HVAC systems, and building services.

Critical Systems
Monitor and maintain critical assets including AHUs, FCUs, pumps, chillers, cooling towers, boilers, and pressurisation units.

BMS Monitoring
Utilise the Building Management System (BMS) to monitor plant performance, fault-find, and optimise energy efficiency.

Sub-contractor Liaison
Assist in overseeing specialist sub-contractors on-shift, ensuring work is carried out safely and to standard.

Rapid Response
Swiftly respond to plant failures and building comfort issues, ensuring zero disruption to the high-profile corporate tenants.
What We Are Looking For

Fully Qualified
City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, or Plumbing.

Experienced
Proven experience working within a high-spec corporate office, banking, or critical data environment.

Technical Knowledge
Strong working knowledge of commercial heating, ventilation, cooling, and water treatment systems (L8 awareness is a plus).
