About this role

A welcoming family relocating to Hampshire in August is seeking a reliable, proactive, up-beat and fun nanny for a split-shift role to provide sole care for their active child as he starts school this September. This position focuses on establishing a structured daily routine, which includes managing morning drop-offs, afternoon pick-ups, and transportation to any extracurricular activities. Beyond ensuring his safety and well-being, the ideal candidate will foster his development by engaging him in interactive play, organising outdoor outings to the park, and encouraging early literacy through reading. Additionally, you will support his transition into school by providing homework assistance, while keeping his bedroom and play spaces clean, organised, and tidy. A driver is required.

A valid first-aid qualification is required.

Working hours

Moday to Friday, Split shift.

Accommodation

Separate flat to the main house

Duties include

taking the child to school and picking up afterwards

helping with homework

doing after school activities with the child

preparing recreational activities

messy play with the child

maintaining a clean and tidy environment for the child

doing arts and crafts

taking to parks and playgrounds

feeding the child and helping with bedtime routine

They are looking for someone to start on 27 August 2026.
