Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housing Sustainment Team Manager to lead our Housing Sustainment team and ensure residents maintain safe, secure, and sustainable housing. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a multidisciplinary team focused on providing support services that prevent homelessness and promote long-term housing stability. As the Housing Sustainment Team Manager, you will oversee the development and implementation of housing sustainment strategies, monitor team performance, and ensure compliance with relevant policies and regulations. Responsibilities

Lead and manage the Housing Sustainment team to deliver effective housing support services.

Develop and implement strategies to prevent homelessness and sustain tenancies for vulnerable clients.

Coordinate with external agencies, landlords, and support services to ensure comprehensive client support.

Monitor and evaluate team performance, providing training and development opportunities as needed.

Ensure compliance with housing policies, legal requirements, and organizational standards.

Manage caseloads and allocate resources efficiently to meet client needs.

Prepare reports and present outcomes to senior management and stakeholders.

Address and resolve complex tenancy issues to maintain stable housing for clients.

Requirements

Proven experience in housing management or a related social services role.

Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.

Comprehensive knowledge of housing legislation, tenancy sustainment, and homelessness prevention.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.

Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities to manage multiple priorities.

Proficiency in data management and reporting tools relevant to housing services.

Commitment to working with vulnerable populations and promoting social inclusion.
