Overview We are seeking a skilled and reliable Demo Labourer to join our team for a 3-month project in Tooting, London. This role involves working on a six-floor building, stripping plasterboard from ceilings and walls using light breakers. Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently strip plasterboard from ceilings and walls across six floors.
• Operate light breakers and other tools as required for the demolition work.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including asbestos awareness protocols.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure the project is completed on time and to a high standard.

Qualifications

• Valid CSCS card (Construction Skills Certification Scheme).
• Asbestos Awareness certification.
• Previous experience in demolition or similar labour-intensive roles is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of health and safety practices on construction sites.
• Physically fit and capable of performing manual labour tasks.

Day-to-Day

• Begin each day with a safety briefing and task allocation.
• Use light breakers to remove plasterboard from walls and ceilings.
• Dispose of debris in designated areas, ensuring compliance with waste management protocols.
• Communicate effectively with the site supervisor and team members to address any challenges.
• Conduct end-of-day clean-up to prepare the site for the next day’s work.
