About the Role

As a Mobile Caretaker, you will play a vital role in maintaining our housing schemes and communal areas to a high standard.

You will be responsible for

Regular visits to care, supported housing, and general needs sitesLow-level maintenance tasks and repairsGrounds maintenance including grass cutting, strimming, and leaf blowingWaste collection and disposal from bin stores and communal areasPAT testing and emergency equipment checksSupporting estate improvements and working closely with our maintenance and housing teamsEquipment stock checksClean/unblock drains, gullies, sinks, toilets as necessary.What we are Looking ForExperience in maintenance, caretaking, or grounds workConfidence in carrying out DIY-level repairs and using garden toolsA full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sitesAbility to work independently and as part of a teamCommitment to excellent customer service and Hightown’s valuesDesirable SkillsExperience with Housing Associations or Local AuthoritiesKnowledge of health and safety requirementsExperience in the collection and disposal of waste in a work environment Why Join Hightown?At Hightown, we are proud to provide safe, secure, and welcoming homes.
