Delivery Driver

Collins Fresh Produce is a diverse food distribution business supplying hotels, pubs, education, care sector and restaurants across the midlands and East Anglia around M25 with fresh produce. dairy, bakery, groceries and much more.

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to handle heavy lifting as part of daily duties.

Must be able to work Saturdays, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and start time is 4.30am each day.

This is a role that requires good customer service.

Duties

Safely operate a delivery vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations

Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage

Navigate routes efficiently to ensure timely deliveries

Maintain accurate records of deliveries and any issues encountered during transit

Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any changes

Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability

Assist in warehouse duties as required, including inventory management and organization

Checking delivery with customer and reporting any shortages

must be able to lift up to 25kg
