Pay Structure

Shifts are paid on a Block Hourly Pay basis, which includes travel between clients.

Paid mileage between visits at 40p a mile.

The Role

Supporting clients in Gorebridge, Newtongrange, Mayfield, Easthouses, Pathhead, and surrounding areas, this is a community-based role. You will assist with personal care, medication, and meals, visiting people in their own homes and travelling between client visits. For this role, a driving licence and access to a vehicle is preferred.

Registration

In Scotland, all care staff register with the SSSC. You must maintain your registration and work towards your SVQ2 (funded by Cera; SVQ registration fee is payable by the employee).
