MOT Tester

Our client, a reputable family-run automotive garage in Leatherhead, Surrey, is seeking an experienced MOT Tester to join their dedicated team. The successful individual will be responsible for performing MOT tests on a range of vehicle types, including cars, motorbikes, mini buses, and vans, ensuring compliance with DVSA guidelines.

Duties of a MOT Tester

• Conduct MOT tests efficiently and with precision, adhering to DVSA standards
• Diagnose and report vehicle faults, offering professional advice to customers
• Complete all documentation accurately and promptly as a MOT Tester
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times

Requirements of a MOT Tester

• Qualified MOT Tester with relevant certifications, such as NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
• Proven experience in conducting MOT tests and fault diagnosis
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work effectively under pressure
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach
• Full UK driving licence
