Electrical Bias Maintenance Engineer

00am – 14:00pm / 14:00pm – 22:00pm

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Electrical Bias Maintenance Engineer to join our manufacturing operation in Milton

Keynes. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a fast-paced engineering team, ensuring the reliability, efficiency,

and performance of our production equipment.

You will play a key role in maintaining machine uptime, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, fault-finding electrical

issues, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the site.

Key Responsibilities

* Carry out planned, predictive, and reactive maintenance activities.

* Diagnose and repair electrical faults across production equipment.

* Support machine uptime and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) targets.

* Conduct routine inspections, servicing, and improvement works.

* Record maintenance activities and machine history using the CMMS system.

* Manage and monitor spare parts usage, helping to maintain critical stock levels.

* Work closely with production, engineering, and external contractors to resolve issues efficiently.

* Ensure all work is carried out safely and in accordance with company procedures.

* Contribute to continuous improvement activities to increase asset reliability and reduce downtime.

Essential Experience & Skills

* Previous experience in a maintenance engineering role within a fast-moving manufacturing environment.

* Strong electrical fault-finding skills.

* PLC knowledge and troubleshooting experience.

* Experience working with planned preventative maintenance (PPM) systems.

* Ability to analyse problems, identify root causes, and implement solutions.

* Experience using CMMS software.

* Strong communication and organisational skills.

* Reliable, flexible, and able to work effectively as part of a team.

Desirable

* NVQ, BTEC, or equivalent Engineering qualification.

* Experience with press tooling.

* Ability to operate workshop machinery including lathes, milling machines, pedestal drills, and surface grinders.

* Experience within a continuous improvement environment.
