Duties of a
Fast Fit Technician
- Perform tyre fitting to a high standard, including emergency puncture repairs and fitting of runflat and EV tyres
- Conduct wheel alignments (training provided; preferred but not essential)
- Carry out vehicle health checks and fault diagnoses
- Conduct routine repairs such as brake replacements, exhaust fitting, and air conditioning servicing
- Liaise with customers to explain required work and promote additional services
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment
- Stay up-to-date with automotive technology advancements and participate in training sessions
Requirements of a
Fast Fit Technician
- Enthusiastic and experienced tyre technician or fast fit mechanic
- Strong technical skills in tyre fitting and basic mechanical repairs
- Ability to multi-task efficiently in a busy workshop environment
- Knowledge of wheel alignment, brakes, exhaust systems, and air conditioning (desirable)
- Excellent customer service skills and proactive approach
- Willingness to learn and engage in manufacturer training
- Previous experience working within automotive garages or service centres
