Purpose of the Role
- Support both Retail and Digital Transformation teams with clear, accurate data and insights
- Turn data into simple, actionable reports that improve store performance and online growth
- Own and continuously improve the retail reporting suite to ensure it is reliable, relevant, and easy to use
Key Responsibilities
Data analysis & insight
- Analyse retail and digital data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Translate data into clear, practical insights for Transformation teams
- Support decision-making with fact-based recommendations
Reporting
- Own, produce, and maintain the retail reporting suite (daily/weekly/monthly)
- Ensure all reports are accurate, timely, and easy to understand
- Continuously improve reports to keep them relevant and aligned to business needs
Business support
- Work closely with Retail and Digital Transformation teams on key initiatives and projects
- Provide analysis to support trials, pilots, and new ways of working
- Help track performance of key programmes / projects
Data accuracy & governance
- Improve the quality and consistency of data used across reports
- Investigate discrepancies and work with teams to resolve root causes
- Support better discipline around data input and reporting standards
Continuous improvement
- Look for ways to simplify reporting and reduce manual effort
- Introduce new metrics or dashboards where they add value
- Stay close to store and digital team feedback to evolve reporting

- Reports are trusted, accurate, and used regularly by Retail & Digital teams
- Insights clearly highlight what is happening and what we should do about it
- Data issues are quickly identified and resolved
- Reporting is simple, consistent, and aligned across teams
Skills & Experience
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and spot trends
- Experience working with Excel (essential) and reporting tools (e.g. Power BI or similar)
- Ability to present data in a simple, clear way (no jargon)
- Good attention to detail and a focus on accuracy
- Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders across Retail and Digital
