Role Purpose

To provide a high-quality administrative and patient support service that helps maximise attendance at scheduled diagnostic scan appointments. The postholder will proactively contact patients to confirm appointments, identify and address any barriers to attendance, and respond to pre-appointment queries to ensure patients are appropriately prepared for their scan. The role is also responsible for monitoring and analysing patient non-attendance data, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement, and supporting initiatives that enhance patient access, experience, and service efficiency. Through effective communication, data management, and problem-solving, the postholder will play a key role in facilitating timely patient care and optimising appointment utilisation.
