Early Years Practitioners (Level 2)

Sapphire-Minton Nursery is looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated Level 2 Early Years Practitioner to join our friendly and supportive team.

We are seeking someone who is passionate about working with young children and committed to creating a safe, nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating environment where every child can learn, grow, and thrive.

Key Responsibilities

o Support the delivery of high-quality care and learning experiences for children aged 0–5 years.

o Assist in planning and delivering fun, engaging, and age-appropriate activities.

o Support children’s learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.

o Help create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all children.

o Encourage children’s independence, confidence, and positive behaviour.

o Support children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.

o Build positive and professional relationships with children, parents, carers, and colleagues.

o Observe and contribute to recording children’s progress and development.

o Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies and procedures at all times.

o Work effectively as part of the nursery team to provide a high standard of care and education.
