Your new role
As Head of Marketing, you will take ownership of the global marketing function, steering both strategic direction and hands-on delivery across the full marketing mix.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will play a central role in aligning marketing with commercial objectives, strengthening brand positioning, and delivering measurable growth. This is a highly varied and dynamic role, ideal for a commercially minded marketing leader who thrives on both strategy and execution.
Key responsibilities include

Strategic leadership
Develop and deliver a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned to growth objectives across international markets

Brand & communications
Enhance global brand consistency, manage PR, corporate communications, and marketing collateral

Digital marketing & web
Lead SEO, website development, analytics, email campaigns, and social media activity

Content & campaigns
Create engaging technical and commercial content across digital and traditional channels

Events & exhibitions
Plan and execute high-quality trade shows, customer events, and sponsorship activity

Agency management
Oversee external partners and suppliers to deliver impactful campaigns

Performance & analytics
Track campaign effectiveness, analyse performance data, and drive continuous improvement
Working closely with senior leadership, sales teams, distributors, and global partners, you will ensure marketing excellence and consistency across all touchpoints.
What you'll need to succeed
To excel in this role, you will be a versatile, hands-on marketing leader with a strong commercial mindset and the ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels.
You will bring
- Proven experience in a senior marketing leadership role
- Strong expertise across digital marketing, branding, content, SEO, analytics, and campaign delivery
- Experience managing multi-channel marketing strategies and global brand positioning
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Demonstrable experience managing agencies, suppliers, and marketing budgets
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects independently
- A data-driven, results-focused approach with commercial awareness
- Proficiency with CMS platforms, marketing tools (e.g. Salesforce), and analytics
Desirable experience includes
- Background in engineering, manufacturing, or technical B2B sectors
- Experience in international marketing environments
- Knowledge of LinkedIn campaigns, SEO, and technical content marketing

What you'll get in return
This is offered as a permanent position, with a salary of £65,000 - £75,000 Dependent on experience.
Other benefits include 28 days annual leave + Christmas / New Year shutdown, Profit Share, Pension etc.
