Workshop Technician - Vehicle Restoration & Underbody Work

We are Chassis Clean, and we're not just a regular garage. We specialise in vehicle underbody restoration, dry ice blasting, media blasting, and serious corrosion protection.

From Japanese performance imports and high-end modern classics to iconic trucks and everyday drivers, we take vehicles back to honest metal and build them back up to last.

As our workshop expands, we are looking for hands-on, energetic team members who are genuinely passionate about cars, aren't afraid of getting dirty, and take pride in doing a job properly.

We're specialists in vehicle underbody restoration, corrosion removal, and rust protection, so no two cars are quite the same.

A typical week may include

• Stripping suspension, subframes, exhausts, undertrays, and other components
• Pressure washing and deep-cleaning vehicle undersides
• Preparing vehicles for blasting and corrosion removal
• Removing rust and old coatings
• Using grinders, wire wheels, sanders, and workshop tools
• Preparing and painting vehicle undersides
• Refitting components after restoration
• Applying cavity wax, Waxoyl, lanolin, and protective coatings
• Helping with rust repairs and fabrication if you have welding experience
• Keeping the workshop, tools, and equipment organised and safe

This isn't an MOT-and-servicing job. We work on everything from everyday cars and 4x4s to classics, performance cars, and restoration projects.

Some cars arrive looking perfectly respectable on top and absolutely horrific underneath. Our job is to make the underside look like someone cares about it again.
