Job Responsibilities

The Housekeeping Supervisor role is an important position within the Housekeeping Department at Worcester College. The post is responsible for supervising a team of housekeeping staff (Scouts) to ensure that cleaning standards are maintained across the many room types within the College. The team are responsible for ensuring that areas are kept clean, tidy and comfortable at all times for our members and guests, and that any maintenance issues are reported. As a key point of contact, the Housekeeping Supervisor will work closely with the Deputy Housekeeping Manager to ensure that requirements are identified and delivered by the team of staff.

The successful candidate will have knowledge of cleaning processes including product selection; a good understanding of customer service; experience and knowledge of Health and Safety in the workplace; a flexible, positive and helpful manner with a high degree of personal and professional integrity; and be a strong team-player with the ability to motivate and engage a team.
