About the Role

We are looking for an experienced

Wall and Floor Tiler to join a construction team working in Walthamstow.

This is a hands-on role involving the preparation and installation of tiles to walls and floors. The successful candidate will take pride in producing a high-quality finish and be able to work safely and efficiently within a construction environment.

Please note

this is a wall and floor tiling position and does not involve roofing tiling.

Key Responsibilities

-

Install wall and floor tiles to a high standard

-

Prepare surfaces before tiling

-

Measure and mark areas accurately

-

Cut and fit tiles to the required specification

-

Apply adhesives, grout and other appropriate materials

-

Ensure tiles are level, correctly spaced and professionally finished

-

Repair and replace existing wall and floor tiles where required

-

Maintain a clean and organised working area

-

Safely use tiling tools and equipment

-

Follow drawings, specifications and instructions

-

Work alongside other trades where required

-

Follow all site health and safety procedures, RAMS and PPE requirements

Essential Skills & Experience

-

Proven experience in

wall and floor tiling

-

Strong practical tiling skills

-

Ability to prepare surfaces and achieve a quality finish

-

Ability to accurately measure, cut and install tiles
