A school based in Surbiton has an exciting opportunity for a SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. They’re looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant who is reliable, resilient and passionate about helping children with SEN thrive.
The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will need to have experience supporting children with EHCPs, following personalised routines and using visual communication. Part of your role will include implementing programmes to promote social, emotional and sensory regulation both 1:1 and in small groups.
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you’ll also track progress and provide feedback to colleagues and families, so good communication is required for the role. This school has rooms with small-group learning areas and a sensory space, overall, a positive and calming place to work!
You’ll be working full time (Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm) as a SEN Teaching Assistant to ensure consistency in the classroom and this role is long term.
