Senior Clinical Fellow in Anaesthesia CW

Day time clinical duties will initially be based on labour ward and then will be tailored to the individuals training requirements.

There will be a 1

8 on-call commitment on the resident obstetric Registrar rota. Applicants must be competent independently inserting neuraxial spinal and epidural blocks for both labour analgesia and for operative procedures. The successful candidate must also be able to confidently manage a busy labour ward out of hours, and be able to provide initial management and resuscitation for all obstetric emergencies such as category one caesarean section, major obstetric haemorrhage, and severe pre-eclampsia among others.
