Junior clinical fellow in Acute Medicine are required to work at FY2/ST1-2 level at the
Royal Free Hospital, London, on the Hampstead site.
This is an ideal opportunity to work in a busy but well supported department with a
team of highly motivated consultants and trainees. The successful applicant will gain
experience across a wide variety of the common and rarer medical conditions and will
have access to the full range of in-house educational opportunities afforded to other
trainees. The consultant body is drawn from a variety of core medical specialities.
You will be at the front end of an exciting patient focused service providing the perfect opportunity for case-based discussions and an excellent learning setting. The Acute Medicine department should provide a challenging but highly satisfying development environment.
You will be an integral member of the Acute Medicine team supporting all areas of the service including integral contribution to the on call medical rota.
The post would be well suited to those looking to bridge the gap between foundation
and speciality training or for trainees and junior clinical fellows who simply wish to gain
more experience in adult acute and general medicine. There may also be scope for
rotation through ED and Elderly Medicine (HSEP).
