Job responsibilities

Patient health checks and clinical reviews, including but not limited to: o Chronic Disease annual reviews inc. Diabetes, Asthma, COPD, CHD and CKD o NHS health Checks o INR testing (including housebound provisions) o Learning Disability Checks Perform injections including but not limited to: B12, depo (contraception), testosterone, zoladex, flu, pneumovax, shingles BP monitoring including hypertension reviews and 24 hour BP Urinalysis

Perform cytology testing Travel Health

by providing comprehensive advice to patients prior to travel including; vaccinations and medicines, safe sex, food hygiene, sun protection. Childhood and adult vaccinations, offer advice and ensure vaccines are administered under patient group directions. Running well person clinics and health promotion programs by providing a holistic assessment and lifestyle advice on diet, smoking, alcohol intake and exercise. Provide a holistic approach to wound management and implement wound care in line with current evidence based guidelines.
