What you'll do

As the Senior Recruiter at Argos, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process for various business units, ensuring the successful attraction and selection of high-quality and diverse candidates up to Senior Manager level. Your role will involve developing strong partnerships with hiring managers to understand talent requirements, building talent pools for key roles, and delivering engaging recruitment experiences that strengthen the employer brand. By utilising your expert recruitment experience and knowledge of best practises, you will lead detailed vacancy consultations, proactively manage candidate and stakeholder satisfaction, and participate in recruitment projects to drive continuous improvement and efficiency in the recruitment process.

Who you are

You are a seasoned recruitment professional with a wealth of expertise in end-to-end recruitment processes, talent pooling, and market mapping, particularly within sectors such as People & Transformation. Your ability to develop strong partnerships with hiring managers, deliver high-quality diverse candidate shortlists, and provide engaging recruitment experiences showcases your commitment to putting candidate experience at the forefront of your work. With a proactive and adaptable approach, you navigate changing business contexts with ease, embrace new methodologies, and continuously seek ways to improve recruitment strategies, ensuring positive employer branding and successful outcomes in alignment with business needs.

Essential Criteria

  • Demonstrable experience delivering end-to-end recruitment processes for corporate roles, including attraction, shortlisting, offer management and onboarding
  • Proven ability to partner with and influence hiring managers to define role requirements and deliver diverse, high-quality candidate shortlists
  • Evidence of using multiple sourcing channels and recruitment technologies to build and maintain talent pipelines
  • Demonstratable experience of using recruitment data or KPIs to monitor performance and identify improvements to service delivery
  • Experience building proactive recruitment strategies tailored to business needs
