Reporting Sonographer – General Ultrasound

The postholder will function as an effective member of the Ultrasound team, providing a high quality, comprehensive and efficient Ultrasound service to patients and referring clinicians; to include the timely issue of diagnostic reports, based on Ultrasound findings The postholder will undertake all aspects of work in the Ultrasound Department, as appropriate to grade, including the supervision and mentoring of more junior staff. The postholder will exercise autonomy within professional and managerial boundaries.
