Wood Machinist / CNC Machinist | Sidcup, Kent | £15 - £16 per hour DOE

A well-established bespoke furniture manufacturer based in Sidcup is looking to expand its workshop team with the addition of experienced and trainee Wood Machinists / CNC Machinists. This is an exciting opportunity to join a respected business with a long-standing reputation for producing high-quality fitted kitchens and luxury furniture.

Working within a busy, modern mill facility, you’ll become part of a skilled and supportive production team manufacturing beautifully crafted bespoke products for discerning customers across the UK.

The Wood Machinist / CNC Machinist Role

You’ll be involved in the production of bespoke fitted kitchens and furniture using a wide range of specialist woodworking and CNC machinery within a professional workshop environment.

Equipment and machinery include

• Homag Edgebander CNC machinery
• 3 and 5-axis CNC driller/routers
• Rip saws and spindle moulders
• Routers and sanding equipment
• RF presses and vacuum bag press systems

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on manufacturing work and takes pride in producing high-quality finished products.

What We’re Looking For

We’d love to hear from candidates who have experience operating woodworking or CNC machinery and can demonstrate strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.

You’ll ideally have

• Experience operating CNC or woodworking machinery
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• A proactive and reliable approach to work
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to work overtime when available

Trainee Opportunities Available

Applications are also welcomed from trainees or college leavers with relevant study experience, practical aptitude, or a strong interest in woodworking and manufacturing. Full training can be provided for the right individual.
