About the Role
We are looking for an experienced
Aareon QL & SQL Specialist to join a team on a
12-month fixed-term contract.
This role requires someone with proven, hands-on experience using
Aareon QL and SQL in a professional environment. You will need to demonstrate a strong understanding of how Aareon QL operates, including its functionality, underlying processes and day-to-day use, alongside practical SQL experience.
This is a specialist role, and
both Aareon QL and SQL experience are essential. Candidates must be able to demonstrate and provide evidence of their practical proficiency in both systems.
Key Responsibilities

Use
Aareon QL confidently in day-to-day operational and data management activities.

Demonstrate a strong understanding of Aareon QL functionality and underlying processes.

Work with Aareon QL data and processes to support operational requirements.

Use
SQL to query, analyse and manage data.

Develop and run SQL queries to retrieve and interrogate information.
-
Analyse data and identify trends, discrepancies or issues.
-
Support data accuracy and integrity across relevant systems.
-
Investigate data-related issues and identify appropriate solutions.
-
Work with colleagues and stakeholders to understand data and system requirements.

Maintain accurate records and documentation.
-
Support reporting and data analysis requirements.

Apply strong attention to detail when working with systems and data.

Follow appropriate processes and data management procedures.
Essential Skills & Experience
Aareon QL

Proven, hands-on professional experience using
Aareon QL.

Strong understanding of Aareon QL functionality.

Good understanding of the underlying processes within Aareon QL.

Practical experience using Aareon QL as part of day-to-day operations.

Ability to demonstrate and evidence your Aareon QL proficiency.
SQL

Proven hands-on experience using
SQL.

Ability to write and use SQL queries.

Experience querying and extracting data.

Experience analysing and managing data using SQL.

Ability to investigate data issues using SQL.

Strong understanding of data structures and relationships.

Ability to demonstrate and evidence your SQL proficiency.
Desirable Skills & Experience

Experience working within housing, property or asset management environments.

Experience supporting business-critical systems.

Experience with data migration, cleansing or validation.
