Early Years Teaching Assistant

A school in Richmond that values of teamwork and community now have a new Early Years Teaching Assistant role available. At this school, Teaching Assistants are an integral part of the community and are valued by all staff.

As an Early Years Teaching Assistant, duties will include providing care and support through planned activities and preparing a welcoming learning environment. You’ll need to have a dynamic and creative approach to supporting teaching and learning that ensures children are making good progress.

The successful Early Years

Teaching Assistant will also be

• Promote children’s development and overall wellbeing
• Work closely with class teachers and the wider Early Years team
• Implementing successful daily routines

For this role, Early Years Teaching Assistants with Level 3 Early Years/childcare qualifications are preferred, however if you have a proven track record supporting early years children, we’d love to hear from you. Experience supporting children with SEN would also be beneficial.
