Business Development Manager (CNC laser cutting & precision sheet metal work)

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and results driven Business Development Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities in the CNC laser cutting, precision sheet metal and fabrication industry. They are primarily tasked with increasing sales revenue and growth and building strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement plans to identify new markets

Lead negotiations and close deals to generate sales growth

Collaborate with other members of the team to gain insight into the various manufacturing processes

Report on sales performance and market insights

Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote the organisation’s services

Requirements

Proven experience in business development or sales roles, preferably within the laser cutting & precision sheet metal industry

Proficiency in e-mail, excel and interrogating production system databases

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Excellent communication and negotiation skills

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving
