About the role
We are recruiting Cleaners to support a university in Brighton during the busy summer period. This role involves preparing student accommodation and campus facilities for the upcoming academic year through high-quality deep cleaning services.
This is a great long-term temporary opportunity for reliable candidates who are available throughout the summer period, including occasional weekends. Full training and uniform will be provided, with potential opportunities for future work available.

A Basic DBS check is required for this position.
Responsibilities
- Deep clean bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and communal areas
- Strip and remake beds
- Replenish supplies and maintain cleanliness standards
- Follow all health and safety procedures
- Safely use cleaning equipment and materials
- Report maintenance, safety, or welfare concerns promptly
- Deliver excellent customer service to students and visitors
Requirements
- Minimum 6 months’ experience working as a cleaner
- Must be aged 18 or over with the right to work in the UK
- Willingness to complete a Basic DBS check
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to move loads up to 10kg safely
