About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Math & Science Teacher to join our dedicated team and deliver high‑quality, personalised education to students working in small groups or 1:1 settings. This is a role where your impact is visible every single day.
What You’ll Do
Plan and deliver engaging Maths and Science lessons up to GCSE level for individuals and small groups.
Support nurture‑based programmes that build students’ confidence, wellbeing and readiness to learn.
Monitor, record and report on student progress to ensure personalised, meaningful development.
Create a safe, structured and stimulating classroom environment with well‑organised resources.
Develop, implement and review Individual Education Plans and Behaviour Plans with the wider team.
Lead on subject coordination across key stages as agreed with the Headteacher.
Work collaboratively with LSAs, tutors, care staff and multi‑professional colleagues to ensure consistent support.
Promote positive behaviour, manage challenges effectively and help students develop self‑regulation skills.
What We’re Looking For
PgCert Ed/ QTS or equivalent required
Experienced in teaching Maths and/or Science up to GCSE level.
Skilled in adapting learning for individual needs and small groups.
Confident working with students who may present challenging behaviour.
Committed to safeguarding, inclusion and high‑quality education for all.
A reflective practitioner who stays up‑to‑date with educational developments.
A team player who values communication, collaboration and consistency.
