Children in this nursery enjoy a rich and varied programme of creative play, focused learning, and group-led activities. With a proven track record of preparing children brilliantly for the next stage of their education, this is a setting where the quality of provision is evident in everything - from the resources in the rooms to the outcomes for the children.

They are now looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Room Leader to take ownership of their room, lead their team with confidence, and continue delivering the high standard of early years practice this nursery is known for.

What Our Client Is Looking For

  • Level 3 Early Years qualification or above - essential
  • Experience as a Room Leader or Senior Practitioner within a nursery setting
  • A strong understanding of EYFS and a passion for delivering high-quality early years education
  • Confident leading a room team and motivating practitioners around a shared vision
  • Committed to preparing children well for school and the next stage of their learning journey
  • Warm, enthusiastic, and a reliable team player with strong communication skills

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading the day-to-day running of your room, creating a stimulating and nurturing environment for children
  • Planning and delivering a rich mix of creative play, focused learning, and group-led activities in line with EYFS
  • Making full use of the nursery's well-resourced environment to provide varied, engaging experiences every day
  • Supporting children's development and school readiness, contributing to the nursery's strong preparation outcomes
  • Observing and documenting children's progress, sharing updates meaningfully with families
  • Mentoring and supporting room-based staff, acting as a positive and consistent role model
  • Contributing to the wider nursery team and upholding the setting's Good Ofsted standards
