About this role
A school in Kew are currently looking for an ASD Teaching Assistant to start in September. Previous experience in a school is preferred or any experience supporting individuals with SEN.
Most of this ASD Teaching Assistant role will be spent in classroom settings supporting pupils with ASD in overcoming barriers to their learning. Working closely alongside teaching staff, you’ll also be asked to deliver interventions to small groups of pupils.
As well as having a supportive team to work with as an ASD Teaching Assistant, children at this school are happy and the classrooms have a friendly atmosphere. This role is to last until at least July 2027, so you’ll get to see the progress children make with your support.
This ASD Teaching Assistant role is full time from 8:30am-3:30pm, Monday-Friday so there is consistency for the children you’re supporting, and you can build good rapport.
