Interviews for this role will be held on Monday 8th June 2026.The post holder will work as a senior member of the Haringey Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Team (CRHTT), part of North London Foundation Trust (NLFT). The CRHTT provides intensive, home‑based crisis assessment, treatment and support as an alternative to hospital admission, ensuring rapid and effective crisis responses for residents in Haringey.
In this role, the psychologist will contribute to the delivery, development and continuous improvement of the therapeutic offer within the crisis pathway. A core aspect of the post involves strengthening trauma‑informed practice, enhancing team culture, and supporting psychologically safe, consistent and effective responses to high‑pressure and emotionally complex clinical presentations. The post holder will work closely with clinicians to embed systematic, trauma‑informed models across the HTT and wider acute care system.

In order to meet the needs of the Trust you may be required from time to time to work at different locations to your normal place of work. This may mean that you are required to work at any location that fall under Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Haringey or Islington. The Trust reserves the right to require staff to work at such other places or locations as it considers reasonable and necessary on a temporary or permanent basis.
The postholder ensures thesystematic delivery of a high‑quality, trauma‑informed specialist psychology servicewithin the acute care pathway. Their work includes psychological assessments, brief evidence‑based interventions, collaborative formulations, reflective practice, and consultation to the multidisciplinary team (MDT). The role also supports smooth transitions between crisis, inpatient, and community services, ensuring that the voices and relational needs of families and carers remain central.
