Chip Shop Assistant

We are looking for enthusiastic and hardworking employees to join our team. The shop assistant role consists of but not limited to the following duites:

• Taking orders and providing excellent customer service

• Preparing food, including battering fish and cooking chips etc

• Using the till to process payments

• Checking stocks and restocking supplies as necessary

• Ensuring food preparation meets safety standards

• Maintaining a clean and organised catering environment

• Able to work as part of the team and using own initiative when needed

• Clean and maintain all appliances, shop areas to meet food safety standards

• Providing an efficient and friendly service to customers, through preparing and serving food that meets the customers' expectations

• Complete all relevant trainings as required by the management

• Attending team meetings when required

• Able to take telephone orders

• Able to complete full and accurate records

• Using PPE provided as required
