Key Person, building strong, lasting relationships with families, tracking milestones, and implementing the EYFS framework.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for energetic, professional, and reliable individuals who meet the following criteria

Qualifications

Holds a full and relevant

Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years (e.g., NVQ Level 3, CACHE Level 3, or equivalent).

Knowledge

A strong understanding of the EYFS statutory framework, child development, and observation/assessment processes.

-

Skills

Excellent communication skills, strong team-working abilities, and a positive, solution-focused attitude.

-

Commitment

Fully dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, with a robust understanding of safeguarding procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Key Person Duties

Oversee a designated group of children, tracking their development, updating learning journals, and writing progress reports.

-

Curriculum Delivery

Plan and implement creative, age-appropriate, play-based activities aligned with the EYFS.

-

High-Quality Care

Provide excellent general care, supervision, and support with personal care and mealtime routines.

-

Partnership with Parents

Maintain open, professional communication with parents and carers to provide daily feedback on their child's day.

-

Safety & Compliance

Ensure a clean, safe, and secure environment, strictly adhering to health and safety and safeguarding policies.
