We are seeking patient, resilient, and caring individuals to join a specialist educational team as a Trainee SEN / CABAS Teacher. No prior teaching experience or qualifications are required. If you have the right attitude and a basic background in helping others, we will handle the rest.

What
Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like
Working in small, highly supported classrooms on a 1:1 or small group basis, you will use positive reinforcement to help autistic children thrive:

Teaching vital life skills, communication, and emotional development.

Planning and delivering interactive, engaging learning activities.

Supporting pupils during active times, including playtime, lunch, and fun community trips.

Assisting with personal care routines (such as feeding and toileting) with dignity and care.

We are looking for

People Experience
Professional, personal, or voluntary experience working with children, elderly care, support work, or individuals with disabilities.

Core Education
Minimum Grade C/4 GCSE (or equivalent) in English Language and Maths.

A calm, level-headed nature when managing high-pressure situations or distressed behaviours.

Energy
The physical capability to keep up with an active school day, which includes bending, twisting, and working at lower heights.

Attitude
A positive, can-do mindset and a genuine willingness to learn new behavioural techniques.
