Stores Person (Forklift Driver)

We are recruiting on behalf of a successful manufacturing business in Coatbridge for a Stores Person to support the efficient movement of materials and goods across the site. This is a hands-on role within a busy environment, offering long-term stability and the chance to join a supportive team.

Your Time at Work

Receiving and booking in deliveries

Loading and unloading vehicles safely

Storing materials in designated locations

Picking and issuing parts and materials to production teams

Picking, packing and preparing orders for dispatch

Assembling spare parts kits and associated items

Assisting with goods-in and goods-out processes

Maintaining accurate stock records

Supporting stock counts and inventory checks

Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck

Ensuring stores and warehouse areas remain clean, safe and organised

Our Perfect Worker

Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (essential)

Previous experience in a warehouse, stores, logistics or manufacturing environment preferred

Strong attention to detail

Good organisational and time management skills

Basic IT and numeracy skills

Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Reliable and proactive attitude

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
