Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Groundworker to join our team in Woodham Lane, New Haw. The ideal candidate will have experience in groundwork and hold a valid CSCS card. Responsibilities As a Groundworker, your key responsibilities will include

• Preparing and maintaining construction sites, including clearing debris and leveling ground.
• Excavating and backfilling trenches for utilities, foundations, and drainage systems.
• Installing and maintaining drainage systems, kerbs, and paving.
• Operating and maintaining tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
• Collaborating with team members and other trades to ensure project deadlines are met.

Qualifications To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria

• Possession of a valid CSCS card (essential).
• Proven experience in groundwork or a similar role.
• Knowledge of construction site safety practices and procedures.
• Ability to operate hand tools and small machinery.
• Strong physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labor.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Day-to-Day

Your daily activities will involve

• Reporting to the site supervisor for task assignments.
• Preparing the site for construction activities.
• Carrying out excavation, trenching, and backfilling tasks.
• Installing drainage systems and other groundwork components.
• Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within project timelines.
