Nursery Assistant Manager

Rosebank Day Nursery is recruiting an enthusiastic and experienced Assistant Manager to support the leadership and day-to-day running of its Outstanding nursery. Rated Ofsted Outstanding for 18 consecutive years, Rosebank offers a caring, child-centred setting where outdoor learning and nature-based play are integral to the curriculum.

Working closely with the Nursery Manager and Deputy Manager, the successful candidate will help lead and mentor practitioners, maintain high standards of care and education, support the delivery of the EYFS, and ensure effective safeguarding, staff deployment and operational practice. The role will also involve building strong relationships with children, parents and carers, and stepping into management responsibility when required.

Applicants must hold a full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification or above, have a strong understanding of the EYFS, and bring proven experience in a senior or room-leader role. The ideal candidate will be organised, proactive and confident in motivating a team, while remaining hands-on in children’s learning and care.
